Regional Airports
Our four closest airports are Seville 2 hours/150km and Jerez 1 hour/70km to the North East, with Gibraltar 1.5 hours /90km and Malaga a 2.5 hours/200km to the South East) which offer a wide range of scheduled and chartered flights from the UK and Europe
.
(Due to the different type of roads, the distance and driving time from each airport has been calculated separately.)
NO FLY - Trains & Buses
TRAIN: For those wanting to avoid flying, there are some wonderful train journeys across Europe down to the finca -enjoy a night or two enroute in Barcelona, Granada, Madrid & Cordoba! Closest stations are Jerez & Cadiz an hour to the North, or Algeciras an hour to the South - fast connections from Seville.
The Spanish national train website is www.renfe.es, while the excellent website www.seat61.com will explain how to get here from almost everywhere!
Car Hire & Taxis
As we are located in a rural area with limited local transport (just one bus a week to our village), we do recommend that guests hire a car to fully enjoy all the area as to offer.
We can also provide numbers of taxis for airport collection, as well as local regional bus, train and taxis details - although taxis are not a cheap option, particularly for airport runs. However, they are popular for local trips, such as enjoying an evening out at one of the wonderful restaurants tucked away in the local villages!
